Nurse Practitioner & Paramedic Practitioner

Please see our Advanced Nurse Practitioners Heather, Jane and Nithya  or our Paramedic Practitioner Linda Love Monday -Friday for Minor Ailments and acute problems. They will be more than happy to help you.

Cancelling your Appointment

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone to cancel your appointment.

Test Results

If you have been asked to telephone for the results of an investigation, please ring the appropriate surgery - Victoria Cross Surgery on 535584 or Eldene Health Centre on 480111

Out of Hours

If you need urgent advice or a home visit when the surgery is closed please contact NHS 111.

 

When the Surgery is Closed

Out of Hours

Swindon CCG provides the Out of Hours Service between 6.30pm and 8.00am on weekdays, at weekends and on Public Holidays.

If you need urgent advice or a home visit when the surgery is closed you can contact NHS 111, for medical advice.

For Emergencies:

If the emergency is:

  • Sudden severe allergic reaction
  • Choking
  • Fitting (not stopped after 5 minutes)
  • Severe Cuts
  • Major injuries
  • Suspected Fracture
  • Coma or unconsciousness
  • Head injury causing unconsciousness
  • Drug overdose
  • Burns and Scalds (unless minor)
  • Poisoning
  • Chest pain

Take the person as soon as possible to the Emergency Department at the Great Western Hospital, Marlborough Road, Swindon, or call 999 for an ambulance if they cannot be moved.
