Nurse Practitioner & Paramedic Practitioner

Please see our Advanced Nurse Practitioners Heather, Jane and Nithya  or our Paramedic Practitioner Linda Love Monday -Friday for Minor Ailments and acute problems. They will be more than happy to help you.

Cancelling your Appointment

If you are unable to attend an appointment with one of the doctors or nurses, please telephone to cancel your appointment.

Test Results

If you have been asked to telephone for the results of an investigation, please ring the appropriate surgery - Victoria Cross Surgery on 535584 or Eldene Health Centre on 480111

Out of Hours

If you need urgent advice or a home visit when the surgery is closed please contact NHS 111.

 

Pharmacists

Mrs Rima Alsahwi (f)

Rima is an independent Prescriber Clinical Pharmacist. She works at Victoria Cross Surgery Mondays and Thursdays, every  Wednesday at Eldene Health Centre.  Patients are welcome to book an appointment with Rima for Medication Review.

Community Midwives

All our doctors offer maternity care. Antenatal and post-natal appointments can be arranged with your doctor during normal surgery hours. Your doctor will refer you to the midwife or you can make a midwife appointment at Reception.  The midwife will monitor you during  your pregnancy for check-ups and advice on all aspects of maternity care. Appointments with the midwife are available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and can be made through the surgery.

The midwife is also available for pre-pregnancy advice.

Community Nurses

The Community nursing team attached to the practice, based at Clarence House, provide specialist nursing care in the community. They work alongside GPs, other health professionals and the Social Care team to provide care and support in the home.

Health Visitors

The Health Visitor attached to the practice, based at Wroughton Health Centre, can offer advice, help, support and guidance on all aspects of child and family health and development, especially with families with children under 5.
