Blood Tests
These are usually undertaken by our Phlebotomists and Health Care Assistant, daily at Victoria Cross surgery, and on a Monday and Thursday morning at Lakeside Practice. The Practice Nurse can also undertake phlebotomy. If the doctor has requested a blood test, please make an appointment at reception.
Test Results
You can receive your test results in the following ways:
- Phone us: Victoria Cross on 535584 or Lakeside Practice on 480111
- Use your NHS account (on the NHS website or in the NHS app)
To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
If the result is not straightforward you may be asked to make an appointment with the doctor to discuss it.
